Tony Candelaria is a director, sculptor, puppet fabricator and professor, whose background ranges from working in development at Warner Brothers animation, to fabricating puppets and model making on feature films Coraline and Paranorman at Laika. His most recent projects include working as a puppet fabricator on Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio at Shadowmachine and Shape Island for Apple TV+, which he was Art director and headed the puppet dept at BixPix animation.

Tony currently lives in Los Angeles and teaches sculpture at the New York Film Academy, in Burbank.
